7:30 AM: Depart Nairobi by road, heading southwest through the scenic Great Rift Valley, with a brief stop at a viewpoint to admire the panorama. Midday: Arrive at your lodge or tented camp in Masai Mara. Check-in and enjoy lunch. Late Afternoon: Embark on your first game drive in the reserve, searching for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and more. Evening: Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Early Morning: Optional hot air balloon safari (additional cost) offering a breathtaking aerial view at sunrise. Full-Day Game Drive: Spend the entire day in the reserve with a packed picnic lunch, venturing deeper into the plains. If you’re traveling between July and October, you may witness the Great Migration crossing the Mara River. Evening: Return to the lodge for a relaxing dinner.
