Kimakia Forest Waterfall

Kimakia Forest is located in Kiambu County on the eastern slopes of the Aberdare Range and forms part of the larger Aberdare ecosystem. It serves as an important water catchment area, with rivers that supply Nairobi and nearby regions originating from this forest. The forest is made up of indigenous montane vegetation, including tree species such as cedar, podo, and camphor. It supports a range of wildlife, including monkeys, bushbucks, and many native bird species

Rendezvous point: Kencom Area Opposite international house. 

Pick up time: 6 am.

Residents: Ksh 3,100 pp

Non-Residents: USD 35 pp
